CORE BUSINESS · BOSS DUBAI

Integrated process analysis, from the sample point to the control system.

BOSS Dubai is an Analyzer & Sampling System Integrator in Dubai, UAE. We develop project-specific solutions that bring process analysers, sample extraction, sample conditioning and control system interfaces together as one coordinated package.

Our integration approach starts with the measurement objective and process conditions. The scope is then defined around the analyser requirements, sample integrity, response time, safe operation and maintainability.

INTEGRATION SCOPE

Analyzer and sampling system engineering

Analyzer selection & integration

Review of measurement components, ranges, accuracy and response requirements. Process gas chromatography, continuous gas analysis and liquid analysis are evaluated against the application and the selected equipment.

Sample extraction & transport

Sampling point and probe arrangement, sample lines, fast-loop requirements and stream selection. Transport time, pressure, temperature and the required sample phase are considered as part of the complete system.

Sample conditioning systems

Application-specific pressure and flow control, filtration, temperature management and moisture handling. Conditioning is selected to meet analyser inlet requirements while protecting the components being measured.

Panels, cabinets & shelters

Integration layouts for analyser panels, cabinets or shelters, with utilities, access, ventilation and environmental conditions addressed in the agreed project scope.

Calibration & system interfaces

Calibration arrangements, stream switching, alarms and interfaces to PLC, DCS or SCADA systems. Signals and communication protocols are confirmed against the selected analyser and plant requirements.

Testing & project support

Defined requirements for assembly inspection, factory acceptance testing, commissioning support and handover documentation. Test procedures and acceptance criteria are agreed for each project.

DESIGNED AROUND YOUR PROCESS

A representative sample is part of the measurement.

An analyser cannot correct a sample that has changed before reaching its measuring cell. Sampling system design therefore considers the complete path from the process tap to the analyser, including sample transport, conditioning, stream switching and the analyser cycle.

  • Sample integrity: review materials, contamination risks and potential losses of the target components.
  • Response time: consider the combined delay of extraction, transport, conditioning and analysis.
  • Phase control: assess condensation, vaporisation and temperature changes against the intended sample phase.
  • Maintainability: plan accessible filters, valves, calibration connections and isolation arrangements.
  • Site requirements: define hazardous-area classification, utilities, vent or return arrangements and applicable project standards.

Gas cooling, drying or liquid separation is not applied as a universal solution: its suitability depends on the gas matrix and whether the components of interest remain representative.

APPLICATIONS & DELIVERABLES

Process analyser packages for industrial projects

We welcome integration enquiries for oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, chemical and power applications, including process composition, product quality and utility monitoring. Emissions monitoring enquiries are reviewed against the relevant measurement and regulatory requirements.

Project documentation

Depending on the contracted scope, deliverables can include analyser datasheets, sampling system P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, bills of materials, utility schedules, electrical and interface documents, inspection and test plans, FAT procedures, operating instructions and as-built documentation.

Required material compatibility, hazardous-area approvals and product certificates are specified for the selected equipment and installation. Package scope, responsibilities and documentation are confirmed in the technical proposal.

What we need to develop your analyser package

  1. Process stream composition, target components and concentration ranges.
  2. Sampling-point pressure and temperature, including expected variations.
  3. Moisture, particulates, corrosive components and any known phase changes.
  4. Required accuracy, response time and number of sample streams.
  5. Sampling-point location, transport distance and available utilities.
  6. Installation environment, hazardous-area classification and project standards.
  7. Required PLC/DCS interfaces, documentation, destination and project schedule.

Frequently asked questions

What does an Analyzer & Sampling System Integrator do?

An integrator coordinates the analyser, sample extraction and conditioning, utilities and control interfaces as a complete measurement package. The objective is to match the entire sample path to the process and measurement requirements.

Can you review an existing analyser sampling system?

Yes. Send the existing P&ID, analyser details, process conditions and the symptoms being observed. The review scope can address sample handling, response time, equipment compatibility and possible upgrade requirements.

Can the scope include a sampling panel only?

Yes. Enquiries can cover a sampling or conditioning panel, analyser integration, or a broader package. The boundary of supply and the interface responsibilities are defined in the quotation.

Which brands can be integrated?

Equipment is considered against the application, project specification and availability. Share your preferred manufacturer or approved vendor list; brand selection and compatibility are confirmed in the technical proposal.
